Red Cake Recipe

Cakes and Biscuits__Recipes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup soft butter
    ā€¢ 3 cups cake flour
    ā€¢ 4 tsp baking powder
    ā€¢ 1 cup milk
    ā€¢ 1 Ā¼ cup sugar
    ā€¢ 4 eggs
    ā€¢ a pinch of salt
    ā€¢ 1 tsp vanilla essence

Method
1. mix all the ingredients together for 10 ā€“ 15 minutes
2. pour cake mixture into a greased baking pan of choice and bake @180c until done
icing

  • Ā¼ 1b butter
    ā€¢ 1 cup icing sugar
    ā€¢ 2 tsp hot water
    ā€¢ 2 tsp milk
    ā€¢ 2 tsp vanilla essence
    ā€¢ little red colouring

Method
mix all the ingredients together
spread icing over cake
sprinkle coconut on top of icing
