Tuesday 20120911 – The annual Dawah and Tableegh Ijtima of South Africa took place in April 2012, 6 to 9th in Azaadville, Gauteng.  An Ijtima is a gathering where Muslims are encouraged to attend to listen to spiritual talks focusing on self-reformation, strengthening of the Imaan (Faith), correcting of the Yaqeen (Conviction in Allah) and the importance of continuing this effort of the Ambiya Alaihi Salaam.  Those that attend are encouraged to sacrifice a little of their time, health and wealth to strive in the path of Allah Ta’aala… In this podcast Ml Abbaas Ali Zubair Ali, a senior Aalim residing in Springs; South Africa, gave a report back from the Ijtima and imparted some of the advices that were presented.  Moulana Saheb also described the first few Ijtimas that took place in South Africa in the sixties when he was just a young boy.  This is part 1 of 2…
