Samsung Launches Galaxy Fold & Pricing in SA

Samsung South Africa has announced that its much-anticipated foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Fold will be available in South Africa from 18 October.

CEO Sung Yoon made the announcement at the Power of 10 celebration in Sandton on Thursday.

Yoon says South Africa is among the first countries in the world to receive the foldable smartphone.

“DJ Koh, our global CEO, he loves South Africa so much too. That’s why he agreed to send us the first Galaxy Fold pre-launch batch now, which means they will arrive on Monday.

The Galaxy Fold which is expected to retail for about R 43,999 is available for pre-order and will ship to customers on 18 October.
