Savoury Pancakes (14.08.07)

Marinate chicken (cubed) in fresh garlic, black pepper, green masala, whole jeeru & dry dhana- arad (optional).

Braise 2 onions till pink, add garlic flakes & meat and cook until done.

Onced cooked add ½ cup steers garlic sauce & leave to simmer for a while when cool add greens. White sauce or mushroom sauce can be added.

Pan cake:

1 cup flour


1 cup milk


2 eggs


½ cup water


3 tsp soft butter or ghee


1 tsp baking powder


Salt to taste

Mix everything together and make pancakes to the size of a side plate.


Put filling in middle, top with chutney and cheese and close like cushion with lai.


Dip in egg and bread crumbs and fry.
