Serial rapist arrested at KZN casino

On Wednesday, October 26, 2022, in Richards Bay, the Provincial Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit (FCS) detained a 28-year-old serial rapist at a casino.

The man has been on the run since 2016 and is currently facing charges of rape.

According to FCS, the man allegedly raped two females in Newark in 2016 before he moved to Kwambonambi, Jozini and Richards Bay, where he allegedly raped a total of ten women, including young girls,

He was arrested and detained at the Richards Bay police station.

On October 27, 2022, he appeared before the Richards Bay Magistrate’s Court; he was remanded in detention before the subsequent court date.
