Africa Report with Dr Mustafa Mheta

By Annisa Essack
05:04:2022

Speaking to Radio Islam International today, Dr Mustafa Mheta, Head of the Africa Desk at Media Review Network, spoke on the issue of Saudi Arabia’s mass execution in a single day and the racism faced by Africans during their escape from Ukraine.

Dr Mheta says that the Saudis seem to be rushing to beat the Guinness Book of Records and called it pathetic.

He compared the war between Russia and Ukraine to Palestine and Israel, saying that Palestinians are killed daily, homes destroyed, and land usurped. Still, there has been little condemnation, yet the West calls for Putin to be investigated for war crimes, etc.

On the issue of racism, Dr Mheta says Ukraine is a neo-Nazi society. He explained that the Nazis who fled Germany and Austria settled in Ukraine and continued their organisations and ideology. He says that the testimonies of students from all over Africa, who fled from Ukraine at the start of the war with Russia, are filled with racist experiences.

Furthermore, he referred to Ukraine as the new Nazi country, where racism was rife.
