Vodacom “Shake Every Day Promotion” Creates Social Media Storm

Vodacom’s “Shake Every Day” promotion has created a social media storm with thousands of customers taking advantage of the free gifts by the mobile service provider.

The promotion which runs from 13 October 2017 to 31 January 2018 prompts customers to dial *111# choose option 6 and accept their gift or they can use the latest version of My Vodacom App to take part in the promotion.  

According to Vodacom, every customer will get a guaranteed daily reward and by redeeming rewards they stand a chance to receive more incentives 

Vodacom says rewards can be won in the categories of voice, data, bonus airtime rewards, digital content rewards, lifestyle rewards, electronic devices, a million Rand or one of 12 Renault Clio cars.

It says the promotion is open to all prepaid, hybrid and post paid customers and excludes community services numbers, cellphone numbers paid fully by a corporate and M2M.

Vodacom has also dismissed reports that technology company Apple is affiliated with the “Shake Every Day” promotion saying rewards given through mobile operator will not include any Apple products.
