Vodacom has announced its flagship mall Vodacom World in Midrand will be undergoing major renovations and will be closed to the public for about six months.
The mobile operator says Vodacom World will be closed from 17 March and reopening late in 2018.
It says one the enhancement is completed Vodacom World will offer a unique experience for customers of all ages, showcasing the latest consumer technologies and offering a personalised in-store experience.
Jorge Mendes, Chief Officer for Sales and Distribution for Vodacom Group says Vodacom World will be digital to the core once renovations are completed.
“In line with our strategy to become a leading digital company, Vodacom World will undergo a digital transformation which will reposition it as the destination of choice – evolving from a one-stop cellular mall, to a digitally connected world.”
