10-Minute homemade fix for cold and flu (05.07.18)

INGREDIENTS…
Ginger, Cinnamon stick, Star Anise (chakra phool), Honey, Apple Cider Vinegar, Lemon and Water

PREPARATION..Take a 4-inch long ginger. Rinse it well and slice it without peeling. Now take 4 cups of water in a pot and add ginger, 2 cinnamon sticks and 2 star anise and bring it to boil. Now keep it aside for 10 minutes. Strain the mixture in a cup and mix 2 tbsp honey, 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar and juice of half a lemon.
HOW TO TAKE IT..You can have it warm or even at room temperature. This elixir is a ready-to-drink antidote to treat cold and flu.

HOW IT HELPS..So how exactly does it work? Ginger and cinnamon help you boost your immunity. Honey and star anise have anti-bacterial properties.
EXPIRY DATE This elixir can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Remember to prepare a fresh batch for further consumption.
