6 Tbsp oil
1 large onion – grated
1 tsp chillie garlic paste
1 tsp red chillies
1 tsp dhana jeeru
1 tsp salt
2 tomatoes – liquidized
1 x 410g tin baked beans
1 x 410g sugar beans
2 cups water
Dough:
+- 2/3 cup milk
1 egg
1 ½ cups flour
1 tsp green chillies
1 tsp salt
1 tsp dhana jeeru
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp nutmeg
Braise the onion in the oil until golden brown in colour. Add chillie garlic paste, spices and the tomatoes. Cook for 3-4 minutes. Add butter beans and baked beans and sugar beans and cook for 2-3 minutes and add 2 cups water. Add the rest of the ingredients to make a very soft dough. Form into small balls and place over beans curry. Place lid over pot – do not open lid for the first 5 minutes. Steam for a further 5-10 minutes on medium low heat.
