500g rump steak cut into thin strips
1 tsp chilli garlic paste
2 tsp crushed cumin
1 tsp salt
3 Tbsp vinegar
2 Tbsp oil
2 tsp chilli garlic paste
2 tsp ground garlic
2 pkt Tom Yum Paste + 2 Tbsp boiling water
1 tsp brown sugar
2 tsp fish sauce
2 tsp lemon juice
¼ cup taste of Thai sweet chilli sauce
2 Tbsp oil
1x 425g can baby corn,drained
1 large red pepper, cut into strips
1 large green pepper, cut into strips
2 cups mushrooms sliced
3 med carrots julienned
1 can bamboo shoots drained
¾ x 400g can coconut milk
1 cup spinach finely chopped.
Marinate steak for 1 hour with spiced
Cook until tender
Heat oil fry chilli paste and garlic
Add tom yum paste brown sugar, fish sauce lemon juice, and Thai sweet chilli sauce and leave aside.
Heat oil and stir fry the vegetables in the given order
Add stirred fried vegetables to the tom yum mixture
Than add steak and mix well
Add coconut milk and simmer for a few minutes
Toss in the spinach just before serving. Add salt to taste. Serve with cooked egg noodles.
