Literally exactly like your usual sojee but made with bread, yes bread definitely worth a try because honestly it’s soooo delicious you won’t even guess that it’s made with bread
Bismillah.
Process 8 slices brown or white bread in a food processor /coffee grinder until fine breadcrumbs. In a pot melt 125g butter, add 2 elachi pods and 2 Tblspn dessicated coconut then add your breadcrumbs and lightly braise for 10-15 minutes until golden and toasty. Add in 1 cup boiling water and let steam for 2 minutes. In a blender add 3 eggs, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/2 tin condensed milk and a pinch saffron strands (optional )… then add to your steamed bread. Keep stirring the mixture on low heat so it doesn’t get lumpy. Steam for 10 minutes. Top with Nestlé cream and almonds. ENJOY
