Ingredients:
1 finely chopped onion
3 chopped green chillies
60ml oil
5 chicken fillets, cubed
2 tbsp Kashmiri masala
2 tbsp crushed garlic
1 tbsp dhania jeera (coriander- cumin powder)
1 tbsp turmeric
1 tsp salt
1 cup plain full cream yogurt
3 cardamoms (Elaichi)
A stick of rosemary (optional)
3 -4 tbsp tomato paste
60g melted butter
250ml fresh cream
A handful of chopped coriander (dhania)
Instruction
In a bowl, combine chicken cubes, Kashmiri masala, crushed garlic, dhania jeera, turmeric, salt, yogurt, cardamoms, rosemary (if using), tomato paste, and melted butter. Mix well.
Leave the mixture to marinate for a few hours to enhance the Flavors.
In a pot, heat the oil and gently fry the chopped onion and green chillies until golden brown.
Add the marinated chicken to the pot. If needed, pour in a bit of water
Cook on medium heat for about 15 – 20 minutes, or until chicken is fully cooked.
Stir in the fresh cream and bring to a single boil.
Garnish with chopped coriander
