¾ – 1kg prawns devained and butterflied
1 ½ tsp salt
2 tsp fine chillie powder
1 tsp rough chillie powder
2 Tbsp steers peri peri sauce
¼ cup lemon juice
1 tsp lemon pepper
75g garlic butter
Method:
1. Make a paste of the above and marinate prawns
2. Place on frying pan and fry until almost dine
3. Make a separate sauce of the following and place over prawns just before serving:
2 oz butter (melted)
3 Tbsp mayonnaise
3 Tsp steers peri peri
2 Tbsp lemon juice
2 Tbsp Nandos mild sauce
2 Tbsp homemade chillie sauce ( red chutney)
1 Tbsp tomato sauce
Serve with savoury rice or chips.
