Chilli Chicken (07.06.08)


 

FTW

 

 ½ kg chicken fillet cubed

1 tsp ginger garlic paste

1 tsp fresh chilli paste

½ tsp white pepper

1 tsp white pepper

1 tsp salt

6 Tbsp soya sauce

¼ cup tomato sauce

1 egg beated

½ cup cornflour

Oil for deep frying

 

Sauce:

 

¼ cup oil

1 large onion, chopped

1 med green pepper cubed

1 med red pepper cubed

1 tsp garlic, crushed

¼ cup chilli sauce

4 Tbsp soya sauce

1 ½ cup tomato sauce

¼ tsp zeal

½ cup spring onions, chopped.

 

Combine all ingredients and marinate chicken for 1 hr.

Deep fry chicken in batched in medium hot oil until golden brown.

Remove and place on paper towel.

Heat oil, fry the peppers and remove with slotted spoon.

In the same oil, fry onions and garlic until soft.

Stir in the sauces, zeal and cook for a few minutes.

Add chicken to the sauces and mix well and add the fried peppers

Garnish with spring onions

Serve with noodles or rice
