Chinese cuisine recipe

SIMPLY ASIA 514 RECIPE

Ingredients:
3 x Chicken fillets – cut into thin, short strips
1 x onion chopped roughly
1 tsp garlic paste
1 big cup peppers – I like red, yellow and green but whichever you have
Chilli paste – to your preference, I added 1 tblsp of red chilli paste and green
1 large Fresh Chilli and 2 jalapeno peppers
1 pkt mushrooms
Carrots Julienne
1 cup corn
Light Soy Sauce –about half cup
Worchestor sauce – 2 tblsp
2 minute Noodles 3 pkts u can use the 2 minute noodles
Half a cup of chopped cashews/ almond
Chopped shallots / dhania for garnish
2Tbls oil
2 tsp crushed chillis (the dry kind)
Half tsp each black pepper / Lemon pepper / aromat /origanum / mixed herbs/ garlic flakes
6 tblsp sweet chilli
2 tblsp apricot jam
2 tblsp chilli garlic
4 tblsp normal chilli sauce
3 tblsp Woolworths easy to wok Thai coconut stir fry sauce

Method:
In a wok or a deep pan. Add the oil, throw in the garlic and the onions and wait for the onions brown abit. Add in the fresh chilli you cut up and mix it with onions and garlic. Add veggies. After few minutes, Add in the chicken strips. Then continue to stir all the ingredients above and add in the crushed chillies and pepper. Add in the soya sauce. On a separate pot cook the noodles as instructed on the pack but only for one minute. When the time is up, drain and add immediately to the wok and stir in amongst the other ingredients. Add in the peppers and Continue to stir all the ingredients so that all the ingredients are covered in soy sauce. Let the noodles mix with the chicken and cook on low for a few minutes and then serve immediately! Top with chopped cashews and shallots.

NB.. IF YOU DON’T HAVE A WOK THAN MAKE IN A FLAT NON STICK POT

CHOW MEIN RECIPE

Ingredients
Cook +/- 3 pieces chicken fillet (cut into small strips) in a little oil
add:
1 tsp rough red chillies
3/4 tsp aromat
3/4 tsp crushed black pepper
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp white pepper
1 tblsp garlic flakes
1 tsp chicken spice
1/2 tsp arad
1 tblsp lemon juice
2 tblsp soya sauce
**cook till done… Chicken must be moist
1/4 cabbage chopped fine
1/4 robot peppers cut into thin strips
2 carrots grated
**stir fry for 5 minutes and add:
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tblsp soya sauce
1/2 tsp aromat
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp chicken spice
1/4 tsp arad
1/2 tblsp garlic flakes
**Fry for another 15 minutes
**Boil 1/2 packet spaghetti
and mix everything together
**add 1/2 cup water and steam before serving..
