Classic Yeast Dough
A Family Favourite shared to us by Zohra Olla
3 and a half cups sifted flour
1 level tsp fine salt
1 heaped tsp sugar
1 pkt Dry Yeast..we prefer the purple pkt
2 tbsp Klim..optional..my twist
Mix all this together in a deep bowl
Quarter cup cooking oil
3 quarter cup milk
3 quarter cup boiling water
Mix the milk and water together to get a warm liquid..
1 beaten egg
Mix all together
Add to the Dry ingredients and bind a soft dough..add little more liquid if needed but make a soft dough..knead the dough well few minutes. Put back into the deep bowl..cover with a lid. Wrap in a cloth and keep in a warm place to rise. At least 1 and half hour.Â
THIS DOUGH CAN BE USED FOR BUNS, PIZZAS , FOCCACIA , SWARMA ETC..
