Ingredients
650g hake
3 slices of stale white bread
1 small onion
1 ½ tsp garlic paste
1 tsp salt
½ tsp ground pepper
1 egg
3 Tbsp parsley
Method:
Cook fish in the microwave for 15 minutes and strain in colander.
Soak bread in water and squeeze out all the moisture.
Combine fish & bread. Chop onion finely and together with remaining ingredients add to the fish.
Mix thoroughly.
Form balls and slightly flatten in palm of hands.
Fry in oil until golden brown on each side.
Serve with white rice and gesmoorde tomato.
