Premier Panyaza Lesufi currently on a working trip to China until Sunday, has appointed Tasneem Motara, MEC for Human settlements, as acting premier of the province for the duration of the week. Accompanied by two MEC’s, Premier Lesufi will be consolidating and finalizing agreements with China, and meeting with investors.

Stating that this is not the first time that she has taken up this temporary position, Tasneem will be assuming “full responsibilities of the premier.” Ms Motara confirmed that she has no drastic plans for the week and would like to “keep things as stable as possible.”
