Green breakfast Booster (07.10.2010)

Ingredients:

3 apples – peeled, cored and sliced
2 cups grape or apple juice
1 cup water
½ cucumber sliced
1 stick celery
4 kiwi fruit peeled and sliced
Handful baby spinach
Handful watercress
Handful raisins
Small knob ginger chopped
4 leaves mint
2 tablespoons honey

Optional:
Handful wheatgrass (an excellent immune booster)

Method:
Put all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. If consistency is too thick, simply add water. Serve immediately.

Cook’s Tip:
To boost anti-oxidant levels, substitute the juice with 2 cups green tea. For a refreshing, sparkly option, strain juice, then add a ½ glass appletiser to each serving. Serve immediately.
