100 ml Vital Germ
10 g packet of instant dry yeast
5 ml salt
100 ml Vital Sunflower seeds
About 500 ml warm water
50 ml molasses`es
15 ml margarine
Mix the flour, wheat germ, yeast, salt and sun flower seeds in a large mixing bowl. Whisk 250 ml of the water with the margarine and mix into the dry ingredients. Add enough of the remaining water to make a sticky batter. Spoon the batter into a greased 23 * 8 cm loaf tin. Leave in a warm place to rise for about 30 minutes until the batter rises just over the top of the tin. Bake in a preheated oven for 30 minutes. Reduce the temperature to 180 degree cel and bake for a further 20 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean. Remove from the tin and leave to cool on a wire rack.
