Former MP and member of the ANC Fatima Chohan spoke to Radio Islam about South Africa’s current and future political landscape.
- Chohan explains that despite its achievements, South Africa is like a state-of-the art computer still running on Apartheid software, and it is up to citizens to upgrade it
- The proliferation of new parties that are contesting these elections reflects divisions in society: South Africans need to coalesce around SA’s challenges, and not around leaders and individuals.
- It is up to the youth to take South Africa forward.
