Sister Naima explains: “Last year, I lost my husband of 16 years after a brief illness. It was the biggest shock of my life, one that shook me to the core and changed my life forever. Alhamdulillah, with the help of Allah and the support of family and friends, my children and I made it through those dark days, stronger and more committed to living our lives fully, for the sake of Allah, than ever before. This lead to the formation of Continuum, a charity inspired by my own experiences, aimed at supporting widows and divorcees in the Ummah. “
