1 cup potatoes diced and fried
4 tbslp ghee
2 onions grated or chopped
½ tsp ginger garlic masala
1 tomatoe grated
1 tsp salt
2 tsp green chillies or to taste
1 tsp crushed jeeru
1tsp crushed dhania
METHOD
1. Wash and scrape the outer skin of the kerala.
2. Blanch – in other words boil the kerala a little then , strain and leave to cool
3. Cut kerala into rounds
4. Sauté onions in ghee and add tomatoes and spices
5. Cook for 5 minutes and then add the karelas and potatoes
6. Add ¼ cup water and simmer.
7. Finally add fresh cut green dhania and sprinkle ¼ tsp garum masala
