Boil 3 cups Basmati rice with whole jeero 3 tsp salt cinnamon stick and set aside.
Marinate 1 chicken with the following ingredients:
• 3 tblsp ginger garlic masala
• 3 tblsp magic masala.
• Salt to taste
• 1/2 tsp arad
• 1 tblsp drydhana
• 1 tblsp chillie powder
• 1/2 cup lemon juice
• 1 tomato grated
• 1 cup yoghurt
• 3 fried onions
• 1 tblsp saffron.
Marinate the above mixture for about an hour. Meanwhile fry about 3 potatoes and keep aside and boil ½ to ¾ cup masoor. U can add about ½ cup of peas if u want.
Method
In a pot warm ghee add a tsp of whole jeero once it’s hot remove from stove. Now u set your biryani.
first put little rice and masoor at the bottom Then add the chicken which was marinated Then add fried potatoes and masoor Mix a little rice with left over masala and put on top of pot and lastly add your rice Make a little saffron water and sprinkle on rice Garnish with green peas and masoor and steam for about an hour Serve with dhay paaper and paaprie and of course salad Enjoy
