[LISTEN] Ml Sulaiman Moola: “My Country is Bleeding”

Faizel Patel – 14/072021

Esteemed Islamic scholar Ml Sulaiman Moola has emphasised how fickle life is and how it can change in an instant.

Ml Moola was speaking about the current riots enveloping the country.

Thousands of people have participated in criminality, including starting fires on the roads, burning private property and looting shops in Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal.

Ml Moola says as Muslims we should turn to Allah, make istighfar and give charity.

“We say that the cure of Allah and the help of Allah is with charity. Give charity my brother and if you have told me you’ve given charity, I’m going to say give charity again. If you tell me that I’ve recited istighfar, I’m going to tell you increase in istighfar. But that is the cure and that is the formula given to us by Allah (SWT).”

Ml Moola has urged people to make dua for Allah to change the events that have gripped us, adding that today we find ourselves in a situation of where we are “gripped by the garment of fear and hunger.”
