[LISTEN] Ml Sulaiman Moola: Pride Over Piety

Faizel Patel – 26/08/2020

(Twitter: @FaizelPatel143)

Esteemed Islamic scholar Ml Sulaiman Moola says  Allah mentions in the holy Qur’an that if you will be grateful, I will increase for you.

Ml Moola was discussing pride over piety during his weekly Spiritual Ladder series.

Ml Moola says while people tend to forget if they are grateful for the ability of goodness that Allah bestows upon them, He will increase them in that good.

Ml Moola however says that if people display pride and arrogance, Allah will ‘seize and strike’.

“Don’t be proud over your health, or your wealth or your fame, Allah can strike and Allah can seize. But we forget that if we are proud, over our supposed piety, than Allah can equally strike.”

Ml Moola says urged people to never be proud on a any noble accomplishment, but rather credit in to Almighty Allah so that He can increase you in goodness and in virtue.
