Esteemed Islamic scholar Ml Sulaiman Moola says while people demand justice for many things, they should also ponder on the justice that should be meted out to themselves if they are guilty of anything.
Ml Moola was rendering some advices during his Spiritual Ladder series.
Ml Moola says the slogan of justice is a great cause.
“Nobody wants to live under the clutch of tyranny and oppression. But here’s the question and here’s the challenge. How about addressing the aspect of justice when you need to focus the lenses on yourself.”
Ml Moola says the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: “That if my own daughter Fatima (RA) was guilty of theft, than the same penalty would apply to her that applies to anyone else.”
“If we can start off by implementing and executing justice against the wrong we have committed than I am optimistic the world will become a much better place Insha’Allah.”
Ml Moola says the Qur’an releases a strong warning that stand up and execute justice and have the courage and confidence admit I am wrong and whatever measures need to be instituted against someone else must be instituted against myself.
