Apa has selflessly served the community of mafikeng with utmost love and compassion all for the pleasure of Allah ever since she graduated and came back home from her madressah ( Madressah tarbiyatul banaat,Azaadville).
With the help of الله ﷻ,she has inspired the youth of mafikeng, especially the girls and bought a state of change in their imaan, she till date fosters many young women and shapes them to become the true pious and noble servants of الله ﷻ.
Alhamdulilah I have the privilege of being one of apas students from the current maktab that she teaches at (Madressah Rafi-ud-deen, Mafikeng) as well as a ongoing student at apas very own Hifdh madressah ( Madressah Amaanul Qur’an) for which apa takes no fees at all from her students and selflessly, puts in her time, effort, energy, heart and soul ensuring that we benefit from the kalaam of الله ﷻ.
Apa has been like the roots of a tree to myself and many girls who’ve spent their days around her,we rely on her and the wisdom that الله ﷻ has blessed her with to guide us through the Qur’an and the Ahadeeth of our beloved prophet, Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم.
She’s not only been there for us when our imaan was low,but even when it came to our personal difficulties, she’s the one we’d all run to without any hesitation.
Apa has been everything, not just to me but to many of her lucky students, she’s a sister a mother a best friend and a role model that we all look up to.
If it weren’t that الله ﷻ blessed us with her,our knowledge would be nothing in comparison to what it is right now. My heart can’t thank اللهﷻ enough for blessing us with a ustaadha of such calibre.
I would like to nominate my apa because she is truly one of the most amazing and kind people I know. Apa is not just a teacher she’s someone who inspires us every single day. No matter what is going on in her life, she is always in class, smiling, patient, and ready to teach us with love and dedication.
Apa always reminds us that knowledge is a light and that learning Deen should be done with sincerity and passion. Even when she’s tired or not feeling well, she still shows up and gives her best. That alone teaches us so much about strength, sabr, and doing everything for the sake of Allah.
What makes apa so special is the way she treats her students. She cares for every one of us like we are her own. She notices when someone is quiet or sad, and she takes the time to ask if we’re okay. Her words always make us feel calm and comforted. She gives advice with so much wisdom and kindness that you just feel peace when she speaks.
Apa’s way of teaching is also so beautiful. She doesn’t only teach us from the kitaabs she teaches us how to live as good Muslims, how to have good akhlaaq, and how to always trust Allah. She shows us that Deen is not just something we learn, it’s something we live.
She always motivates us to do our best and never gives up on us, even when we struggle. When she explains something, she makes sure we understand, and she never makes us feel small for not knowing. Because of her, so many of us have developed a love for learning Deen.
Apa is truly someone who makes a difference in her community and in the lives of her students. Her sincerity, humility, and patience inspire everyone who meets her. She is a shining example of what it means to serve Allah and help others.
For all these reasons and so many more, I believe my apa truly deserves to be recognised as Aalimah of the Year.
