- Wash & soak 1 & ½ cup mug dhal in Lukewarm water about 1 & ½ hours
- Drain out water add in to it salt chilli powder to your taste,
- 1/2tsp turmeric,
- 1heap tsp dhanna/jeeru powder,
- chop in 1big onion, chop in 2 tomatoes, mix it all up
in wide flat pot pour ¼ cup oil, slice in 3 garlic cloves, slit in 2 green chillies, sizzle till garlic goes light pink color, throw in dhal, with 1/4 cup water mix cover cook on low check in between if lentils feel little bit hard sprinkle bit of water, open lid & up the heat bit let the dhal go nice & crispy in bottom, avoid mixing it now, about 5min will take chop in Coriander, squeeze lemon juice enjoy with hot roti’s & pickles lemon pickles and some pickled onions go well with this dhal.
