1 cup maghnie dhal (soaked in boiling water for about an hour)
Wash and drain thoroughly.
To the dhal add:
1 finely chopped onion
1 finely chopped tomato
1 tsp salt
1 tsp Arad/turmeric
1 tsp dry dhana
1 tsp red chillies
1 tsp red masala
1 tsp green masala
3 whole green chillies
Fresh spring onions (chopped)
Warm oil with whole jeeru and rye/mustard seeds, once hot add mughnie dhal with about 1 cup water and let it cook till done…garnish with greens and serve with kachoomar
