My Lord Nurtures Me

Surrounding You with Beauty and Wonders

One of the most profound ways Allah ﷻ nurtures our hearts, minds, and souls is by surrounding us with beauty and wonders — in nature, in the universe, and even in our own existence. Through His creation, He provides signs of His greatness, reminders of His mercy, and sources of joy, peace, and reflection.

Every sunrise, every blooming flower, every vast ocean, and every intricate detail in the natural world is a testament to Allah’s wisdom and love. He did not just create a world that sustains us; He created a world that inspires us, soothes us, and reminds us of His presence.

  1. The Beauty of Nature as a Sign of Allah’s Mercy

Allah ﷻ designed the world in a way that provides not just sustenance, but also emotional and spiritual nourishment. The colours of the sky, the patterns of leaves, the melody of birds — everything has been crafted with wisdom and purpose.

“And We sent down from the sky rain charged with blessing, and We produce gardens and grain for harvest.” (Qaaf 50: 9)

How This Nurtures Us:

  • Nature soothes the heart — A walk in a garden or by the sea brings peace.
  • Encourages gratitude — We reflect on the One who created such wonders.
  • Strengthens faith — Recognizing that such beauty is not random but intentional.

Examples:

  • The fragrance of flowers exists not just for survival but also for delight.
  • Fruits come in varied flavours, colours, and textures—a sign of Allah ﷻ ’s generosity.
  • The sky changes hues from dawn to dusk, painting a new masterpiece every day.

🌿 Everything around us is a silent invitation to reflect on Allah’s artistry.

  1. The Night Sky and the Universe as Proof of His Greatness

One of the most awe-inspiring aspects of Allah ﷻ ’s creation is the vastness of the universe. He decorated the night sky with stars, planets, and galaxies, each moving in perfect harmony.

إِنَّا زَيَّنَّا ٱلسَّمَآءَ ٱلدُّنْيَا بِزِينَةٍ ٱلْكَوَاكِبِ

“And We have adorned the nearest heaven with stars as an adornment.” (As-Saffat 37: 6)

How This Nurtures Us:

  • The stars remind us of Allah’s limitless power.
  • The vastness of space humbles us, teaching humility.
  • The precise order of celestial bodies shows divine wisdom.

🔭 Did You Know?

The Milky Way galaxy contains over 100 billion stars, yet Allah ﷻ keeps them all in balance.

🌙 Looking at the sky reminds us how small our problems are compared to Allah’s vast creation.

  1. The Beauty of Seasons and Renewal

Allah ﷻ nurtures us by giving us seasons — each with its unique beauty, reminding us of the cycles of life and hope.

“And We bring forth gardens of date palms and grapes, and We cause springs to gush forth therein, that they may eat of its fruit—and their hands did not make it. Will they not then be grateful?” (Yasin 36: 34-35)

How This Nurtures Us:

  • Spring reminds us of rebirth — after difficulty comes ease.
  • Winter teaches patience — not all hardships last forever.
  • Autumn shows us beauty even in endings.

🌱 The cycle of nature is a reminder that change is constant, and Allah ﷻ ’s mercy renews us just like He renews the earth.

A World Full of Signs

Allah’s beauty and wonders are all around us — in the skies, the earth, our bodies, and even in hardships. Every flower, every ocean wave, every moment of love is a reminder of His existence, mercy, and greatness.

What’s stopping us from reflecting on these blessings? Let’s open our eyes, hearts, and minds to the beauty Allah has surrounded us with — and be grateful for the way He nurtures us through them.

🌎 Take a moment today to admire Allah’s wonders. They are everywhere. 💖✨
