500g Paapdi
500g chicken pieces
2 tsp dhana jeero
1 tsp coarse red chillies
¼ tsp arad
1 tsp garlic paste
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
3 Tbsp oil
1 tsp salt
2 medium onions
3-4 medium tomatoes.
Soak in salt water for +- 10 min and rinse thoroughly
Marinate chicken with all the spices
In a flat lay the cleaned paapdi at the bottom with oil.
Process tomatoes and cut onion into thin slices. Places over Paapdi.
Place chicken on top.
Cook on medium low +- 1 ½ hours, shaking pot to insure it does not scorch.
Add +- 1 ½ cup water to steam if necessary.
Serve with moothias and roti.
