Police has identified the Johannesburg serial arsonist

By Mumtaz Saley Moosa
12:09:2022

Over the weekend, Police in Johannesburg North sent out photos of the suspect believed to be the serial arsonist that has been targeting homes in wealthy suburbs of Johannesburg.

However, he remains on the loose, and police are urging the public to come forward with any information that might lead to the arrest of the serial arsonist.

A man known as Sentious Novans is being sought after by police, who, after two years, have come up with a name and image of the man believed to be a Johannesburg serial arsonist.

He is believed to be working alone, targeting elderly homeowners in wealthy suburbs. The arsonist has been seen spending time in homes and eating, and he is even bold enough to spend time cooking for himself. Once done, the houses are set alight by burning blankets or mattresses.

There is a handsome reward for information that could lead to his arrest.
