1 large potato (peeled and grated)
2 cups water
1 cup milk
½ cup frozen corn or 1 tin creamstyle sweetcorn
1 red and green chilli (de-seeded)
100gr butter
1 tsp salt
± 1 cup mielie meal
Boil potato until tender, add milk, corn, chillies and half the butter. Boil then add mielie meal and salt. Stir to avoid lumps, dot with remaining butter and steam till fluffy.
