In a culmination of lavish celebrations, the wedding of Brunei’s Prince Abdul Mateen, 32, and his bride, Pengiran Anak Isteri Anisha Rosnah, 29, reached its pinnacle on Sunday with a dazzling ceremony at the expansive Istana Nurul Iman palace.

Donning ceremonial attire, the newlyweds, accompanied by government leaders and esteemed guests from Asia and the Middle East, paraded through the capital, Bandar Seri Begawan, amid a festive atmosphere.

Prince Abdul Mateen, once considered one of Asia’s most eligible bachelors, married Anisha Rosnah, hailing from a prominent Bruneian family.

The Prince’s father is Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, the world’s longest-reigning monarch and former richest person globally.

The celebration drew thousands of onlookers, with the city embracing a joyful mood, offering free ice cream and refreshments along the parade route.

Among the distinguished guests were royalty from Jordan, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Bhutan.

Notable government figures, including Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, Indonesian President Joko Widodo, and Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos, added to the grandeur of the occasion.

Stay tuned for more highlights from this royal union.
