1kg self raising flour
500 grams margarine
5 cups All Bran Flakes
5ml baking powder (heaped)
5ml salt
2 eggs
½ lt cultured milk
2 cups sugar
Method :
Melt butter Add sugar. Mix dry ingredients. Beat eggs separately. Add cultured milk and beat well. Mix the butter and egg mixture to the dry ingredients. Make soft dough. Bake at 180 degrees for approx. 1 hour, until done. When baked, cut into rusk pieces. Separate the rusks and put back loosely in oven trays. Dry overnight in oven at 100 degrees.
