Ingredients:
1kg self raising flour
500g margarine
5 cups all bran flakes
5ml baking powder
5 ml salt
2 eggs
½ lt cultured milk
2 cups sugar.
Method:
Melt butter add sugar. Mix dry ingredients. Beat eggs separately . Add cultured milk and beat well. Mix the butter and egg mixture toot he dry ingredients. Make a soft dough. Bake at 180 degrees for approx 1 hour until done.When baked cut into rusk pieces. Separate the rusks and put back loosely in oven trays. Dry overnight in oven at 100 degrees.
