Stuffed pepper (27.09.07)
2 large peppers seeded and ½
1 large onion chopped
1 Tbsp jeera
2 Tbsp coconut
1 Tbsp tal
1 Tsbp crushed chillies
1 tsp salt
½ frozen peas
½ tsp tumeric
½ tsp ground garlic
2 Tbsp aamli juice
¾ Tbsp oil
2 Tbsp honey
Method:
Saute onions, coconut, jeera, tal and garlic in 2 Tbsp oil
Add peas and spices and aamli and simmer for 5 minutes
Stuff ½ peppers with this filling
Place stuffed peppers in an oven proof casserole dish, cover with foils until peppers soften.
Remove foil dribble some oil and honey over each pepper and bake a few minutes longer.
