1 whole chicken cut into pieces
1 whole garlic – smash with peel on in a mortar and pestle
Add 1 tblsp water in the mortar and pestle and smash again
THEN…
Squeeze as much as juice you can from the smashed garlic to the chicken
Add 2 tblsp plain yoghurt
Salt to taste
Red chillie powder to taste
1 tsp garam masala
½ tsp arad/turmeric
Juice of ½ lemon
Marinate for a couple of hours or overnight
Put chicken pieces on skewers and when you braaing brush with oil till brown.
Serve with a dip… yoghurt mixed with crushed jeera and salt.
