Unemployed Local Hero finally gets Job in his Hometown

By Mumtaz Moosa Saley

22:09:2020

Early this year we interviewed local hero Paballo Lobone, the paramedic and fire-fighter who has been called a local hero after helping people in need. At the time of the interview, Paballo was unemployed and searching for a job.

The 28-year-old was featured in almost every national newspaper and landed multiple interviews with local radio stations after helping a homeless woman give birth in Hillbrow, Johannesburg. His selfless act did not stop there, as back in his home town of Klerksdorp, Paballo is known as the hero who helps out where needed without taking a cent.

Even thou he is the local hero, Paballo was still trying to gain employment to help further his studies, he reached out to contacts, friends and family asking them to please help share the word that he is looking for work.

A month ago, Paballo had confirmed that he had landed himself a 12-month contract in his home town of Klerksdorp with Matlosana EMRS.

It has been a month since he started his job, his mother and grandmother share so much joy in knowing their hero has found a job that will help him study further.
