Waffles (20.01.2011)

2 Cups cake flour
2 Tbsp baking powder
1 Tbsp sugar
Pinch of salt
3 medium eggs
1 cup milk
1 cup heavy cream
1 tsp vanilla essence
4 tsp melted butter
 
Method:
Sift flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Beat the remaining ingredients until frothy and light. Gradually add the dry ingredients to make a thick, smooth batter using a hand blender. Grease a waffle iron and once hot, cook waffles until golden brown.
 
Topping to serve with:
Cream or ice cream, fruit salad and a drizzling of honey. Caramel treat, thinly sliced bananas and a drizzling of cream. Nutella and a dollop of ice cream. Drizzle with chocolate sauce
