What Positives Can You Take Away From 2020?

The year 2020 was meant to be a year of plenty, and for me it was. While we faced many challenges, I also learnt so much about myself and the world around me. There has never been a time that I’ve experienced personal growth more than I did in 2020.

2020 tested my faith

2020 taught me that Allah indeed has a plan

2020 taught me about self-love

2020 taught me to value myself

2020 taught me that my opinion matters and yours does not

2020 taught me that “likes” and “shares” do not determine my value

2020 taught me to take nothing for granted

2020 taught me to place importance on the time I have with my parents

2020 taught me to be resilient

2020 taught me to be grateful

2020 taught me to be resourceful

2020 taught me to focus on my goals

2020 taught me that I am not hopeless

2020 taught me to be vigilant

2020 raised my awareness of those around me

2020 taught me that life should not be taken for granted

2020 taught me to understand the plight of others

2020 taught me about what matters

2020 taught me to be less materialistic

2020 taught me to practice introspection

2020 taught me to survive

2020, thank you for all that I have learnt this year and all that I can look forward to in the new one, Insha-Allah.
