World Rose Show 2012

CASUAL VISITOR

Casual day visitors are invited to book for selected activities associated with the Convention

Tickets for 12 and 13 October may be bought on the day at Rosebank Union

 WORLD ROSE SHOW
All day Friday 12 and Saturday 13 October
Doors open at 09h00
ENTRANCE FEE: R60 per person

A spectacular display of rose arrangements depicting the 16 countries where world conventions have previously been held, designed and executed by the Gauteng Flora Union as well as a specialist exhibition by top florists from this region

Wonderful shop and craft stalls as well as rose-related exhibitions on display – photographs, quilts, cake icing and more

Tea Garden serving delicious cakes and light lunches.

 
 

 
Saturday 13 October in the afternoon
14h00 to 16h00
Rose arranging demonstration by international and local arrangers – R60 per person plus entrance ticket to Rose Show.

Saturday 13 October in the evening
19h00 to 21h00
Rose-themed concert arranged and conducted by Richard Cock – R140 per person plus entrance ticket to Rose Show

 

Tuesday 16 & Wednesday 17 October
(commencing 09h00) and
Thursday 18 October (commencing 08h15)
Lectures and garden visits

DAILY ATTENDANCE: R325 per person including transport and picnic lunch

Rose related lectures in the morning including a short refreshment break, followed by garden visits in the afternoon with a picnic lunch on the bus
