Basic ice cream recipe for machine
Homemade ice-cream :
1 litre milk (long life full cream)
1 tin condensed milk
1 small tin Nestle cream
2 tbs corn flour
2 tbs Klim
1 teas vanilla
Brink to boiling point
Allow to cool..
When well chilled churn in ice-cream machine
You may add coconut, nuts,any other flavouring or color
STRAWBERRY
U will need:
1 litre vanilla ice cream
1 tsp strawberry essence
1 drop pink color
1 cup finely chopped strawberries
½ cup dessicated coconut
Soften ice cream and mix in everything..place into mould and freeze overnight.turn out
Whole strawberries for deco
CHOCOLATE
2 litres vanilla ice cream
½ cup nutella
1 box roughly chopped romany creams
2 tblsp chocolate nesquick mixed in little nestle cream
Melt nutella and add quickly to softened ice cream
Nutella will harden and create choc pieces..
Mix all together
Pat into mould…freeze overnight..turn out and serve with a rossette of fresh cream and a dollop of nutella
FRUIT SALAD
1 litre vanilla ice cream
½ tin can peaches chopped
Crushed tin pineapple
Chopped kiwi/strawberries
Grapes/cherries
½ cup fresh granadilla pulp
Mix well..deco with nestle cream
MILK TART
1 litre vanilla ice cream
½ packet marie biscuits or tennis crushed roughly
2 cups ultramel custard
Mix together
Place in mould..freeze
Decorate with mini marie/tennis and dustings of cinnamon
CHOC MINT
1 litre chocolate ice cream
1 litre vanilla ice cream
Chopped peppermint crisp chocolate
Color vanilla ice cream with green color and a drop of peppermint essence
In a mould place chocolate ice cream down..cover with chopped peppermint crisp chocolate then place green ice cream..
Freeze,unmould,and deco with mint leaves etc
PEPPERMINT
1 litre vanilla ice cream
½ pkt mint romany creams crushed
1 drop green color
1 drop peppermint essence
½ slab peppermint crisp chopped
Mix together..pat in mould..unmould..decorate with fresh cream rosettes and crushed peppermint crisp
Burfee Ice Cream
Ingredients
½ cup klim
Nuts
elachi
Dessicated coconut
Milk
Condense milk
Nestle cream
Method
Mix all the ingredients together pour into ice cream machine
Vanilla ice cream I use is general store bought ice cream
*softened ice cream means soft,not melted/runny soft to be able to mix easily
*freeze always overnight
*line pans/mould with cling wrap to release easily
*u can deco with whatever u desire..pipe top with beaten fresh cream,drizzle with melted chocolate and garnish with mint leaves,fresh fruit etc
