PECAN PUFFS
250g butter
½ cup icing sugar
½ cup maziena
1 cup ground pecans
1 tsp vanilla essence
2 cups flour… approximately
• Beat butter, sugar and maziena till fluffy
• Add essence and nuts and mix.
• Add in flour to form dough.
• Roll balls.
• Bake in moderate oven till brown
• When cool dip in brown chocolate and drizzle white chocolate
COCONUT BISCUITS
250g butter
¾ cup icing sugar
½ cup maziena
2 ½ cup coconut
• Beat butter icing sugar and maziena till creamy
• Add coconut and about 2 cups flour. Roll dough on a floured surface
• Scrape with a fork, cut in to shapes.
• Sprinkle 1000s sweets and bake in moderate oven till golden brown.
CHOC CHIP BISCUITS
250g butter
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
Vanilla essence
2 cups oats
Pinch salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
1 cup choc chips
60g chocolate of your choice grated
1 cup pecan nuts chopped
2 cups flour
METHOD
• Cream butter and sugars until fluffy.
• Add in 1 egg at a time. Beat well.
• Add rest of ingredients and mix.
• Shape into balls and place apart as biscuits spread.
• Bake in moderate oven.
CRUNCHIES
250 g butter
1 cup sugar
2 cups oats
2 cups coconut
2 cups flour
2 tblsp golden syrup
2 tblsp boiling water
2 tsp bicarb
METHOD
Mix syrup water and bicarb together and add to remaining ingredients to from soft dough.
Press in to a greased baking pan.
Scrape with a fork.
Bake in a moderate oven till done
VARIATION
For choc kits, add 1 tsp of cocoa to dough. Roll out and cut with an oval cutter. Make a small slit with the back of a spoon. After baked join together with chocolate.
