Alternatives uses for teabags

· Used tea bags placed in the refrigerator will absorb strong pungent smells like onion and garlic. This prevents the smell from pervading other food in the refrigerator.

· Nursing mothers can place freshly used tea bags against their nipples. This helps heal the soreness that lactating mothers often endure. Black tea seems to be best suited for this purpose. The presence of tannic acid makes all the difference.

· Mint tea not only helps settle an upset stomach, but its aroma helps cure migraine as well.

· If a bee stings you, place a tea bag on the swelling. It will bring down the swelling and reduce the pain.

· Ginger tea can help clear nasal congestion and ease your sinuses.

· Chamomile tea helps ease menstrual cramps and the mood swings that accompany it.

· Pepper tea helps cure sore throats and headaches.

· If an injection shot hurts more than it should, place a wet green tea bag directly on the spot. It helps ease the pain and reduces the knot.

· Gently rub used tea bags over sunburnt skin. It reduces the pain and heals the burn more quickly. Black tea bags are recommended because of the tannic acid present in them.

· Wet tea bags may help clot blood after extraction of teeth. Just bite down on it.
