Condensed Milk (27.03.08)

 
 
2 x 200g pkts tennis biscuits
4 Tbsp custard powder
6 tsp sugar
1 1/3 cup milk
397g can condensed milk
8 Tbsp lemon juice
Chocolates flakes for decoration
 
Line base of a 250mm square dish with tennis biscuits. Mix custards powder with sugar ½ cup of the milk to a smooth paste in a mixing bowl. Heat remaining milk over medium heat, until it comes to a boil. Add immediately to custard powder mixture, stir until thick and creamy. Return to sauce pan, cook 2 minutes. Remove from heat, leave to cool slightly. Mix together condensed milk and lemon juice.Spoon layer of condensed milk mixture over biscuits in base of dish. Top with a layer of biscuits, spoon a layer of custard over the biscuits. Repeat layers until mixtures and biscuits have been used up, ending with condensed milk mixture. Sprinkle with chocolate flake. Leave to set in fridge
