Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1 cup oats
1 cup coconut
125g butter
3 Tablespoon golden syrup
¼ cup boiling water
½ teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
Method:
1. Mix sugar, flour, oats and coconut together in a large bowl.
2. Melt butter and golden syrup over low heat.
3. Mix bicarbonate of soda with boiling water and add to the melted mixture.
4. Add liquid mixture to the dry ingredients.
5. Mix well.
6. Pat into baking tray and bake at 160 degrees for +/- 15 minutes.
7. Slice when cold.
