½ cup sugar
½ pkt butter
2 eggs
½ cup milk
1 tsp vanilla essence
2 tsp baking powder
1 lt prepared thick custard
Method;
Beat together butter and sugar well and then add eggs. Add essence and milk. Add all the rest of the ingredients to form a firm dough. Divide dough into 7 parts, roll each portion into ½ cm thick Prick each roti with fork and bake until slightly golden brown. Prepare a thick custard. Pour equal amounts of custards into small 4 bowls. Colour each bowl differently. Place one roti on a flat plate. Pour some custard of one collour onto 1st roti and pile next roti onto the custard, continue in this manner until All the rotis and custard is used up, using a different coloured custard each time. Top the last roti with cream and sprinkle grated chocolate
